Lucas Carlomagno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Americo Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Lucas Carlomagno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amancio Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Villalonga. Enzo Mosen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Americo Belarmo. 0-1. Americo Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Amancio Gaufred left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villalonga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Carmensa AFC's zone, Amancio Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Belarmo came out of the goal and Amancio Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prudencio Rosalio was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Bartoli notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Villalonga's Zacarias Eriz. Zacarias Eriz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Gaufred in the 61st minute of play forced Carmensa AFC's goalkeeper Americo Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Carmensa AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Gaufred came free, but Americo Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Carlomagno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Americo Belarmo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Americo Belarmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Gaufred in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Gaufred in the 69th minute of play forced Carmensa AFC's goalkeeper Americo Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Lucas Carlomagno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82ndth minute of the game Amancio Gaufred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carmensa AFC's Americo Belarmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Villalonga supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villalonga would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
