Joel Lauren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 played minutes Anasagasti got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Mitxaut. Joel Lauren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Eneko's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Astor Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Cesaro in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Lauren saved Anasagasti from getting behind. Anasagasti's Pedro Inko shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lucio Galindo but with some difficulty. Lucio Galindo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Justino Pinto sent off a good shot on target. If Astor Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Eneko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisito Eneko to make the kick off. Ariel Clemencin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Lauren. Anasagasti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Cesaro got free with Joel Lauren in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Angel Galsino fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anasagasti's protests and gave Angel Galsino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Anasagasti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Galsino to maneuver through the defense. Astor Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Galsino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justino Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Galindo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Luisito Eneko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldao's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Eneko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Lauren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Mogel during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Saturnino Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
