In the 15th match minute, Solca AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Enetz to maneuver through the defense. Felix Shantala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Claris having to make a save. After 21 minutes, Justino Ricart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espinillo FC and the Solca AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dionisio Oliveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Solca AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justino Ricart was slow to take the kick. During this time Espinillo FC's players had a chance to rest. After some careless play in the Solca AFC defense, Damaso Benet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Oliveiro. The Solca AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Oliveiro should have stopped the shot. Venancio Eudoxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Solca AFC's goalkeeper Dionisio Oliveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venancio Eudoxio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Domingos Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Eudoxio to make the kick off. When Espinillo FC's Silvano Sadurni in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Espinillo FC's Domingos Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Eudoxio in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Espinillo FC's zone, Venancio Eudoxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Claris came out of the goal and Venancio Eudoxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venancio Eudoxio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Claris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Espinillo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Venancio Eudoxio 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Venancio Eudoxio might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingos Claris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Eudoxio ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Damaso Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Oliveiro. Solca AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Espinillo FC's Damaso Benet got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Quilo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Leopoldo Rivero came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Espinillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Rivero couldn't finish the play. Damaso Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Solca AFC reached it. In the 92nd minute, Leopoldo Rivero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Oliveiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
