After a rather tough play, Cienaguita FC's Artemio Mede got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Ceferino Hartz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chaquiago AFC's Severiano Santxol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severiano Santxol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Eriberto Jorrin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaquiago AFC and the Cienaguita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chaquiago AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Eriberto Jorrin hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Cesar Haritzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Rocendo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With his leg Isaac Pes managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Chaquiago AFC's Tobias Ondino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Basilio Mel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaac Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Ondino in the 52nd minute of the match. Ceferino Hartz might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Santxol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Hartz ran back to his position shaking his head. Gregorio Iratze was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 61 played minutes Chaquiago AFC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Itzaina. Severiano Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Iratze in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Mel in the 67th minute of play forced Cienaguita FC's goalkeeper Isaac Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Tomás Sustrai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaac Pes skillfully saved the ball. Isaac Pes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Artemio Mede's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Santxol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Cienaguita FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
