An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Bartoleme in the 12th minute of play forced Arenales AFC's goalkeeper Modesto Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Celestino Paez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Amaya. Arenales AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Paez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Fontezuela AFC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Fontezuela AFC's Elpidio Bartoleme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 33rd minute Celestino Paez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Amaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Bartoleme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Amaya having to interfere. Modesto Amaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Danilo Bidari charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Bidari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Arenales AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Danilo Bidari hit a great ball. Gervasio Erauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Francisco Cristofol made a huge save. Modesto Amaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Bartoleme in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Fero was the one to do the kick off. Placido Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Danilo Bidari was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Danilo Bidari kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fontezuela AFC's Elpidio Bartoleme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Amaya. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. Fontezuela AFC's Celestino Paez got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Matias Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gervasio Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Gervasio Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Bartoleme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Arenales AFC's zone, Celestino Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Amaya came out of the goal and Celestino Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Fontezuela AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fontezuela AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
