Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sorento's Lucas Frasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Everardo Sabino charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Everardo Sabino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Maquinchao AFC's Everardo Sabino got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Remigio Birjaio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alonzo Edwardo sped through Sorento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Ihazintu. 27 minutes into the match, Sorento's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Edwardo came free, but Cristian Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maquinchao AFC's Omar Calisto got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Omar Calisto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maquinchao AFC! The goalkeeper, Epifanio Gudesteo, was totally fooled by Sorento's Abelardo Martino, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Epifanio Gudesteo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Filiberto Onbera sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute of the game, Lucas Frasco landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celestino Lizar to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Lizar got free with Cristian Ihazintu in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celestino Lizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Ihazintu having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Sorento:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maquinchao AFC:s goal. If Remigio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Sorento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Martino to maneuver through the defense. Filiberto Onbera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Epifanio Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Onbera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Calisto hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Celestino Lizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Cristian Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Raymon in the 102nd minute of play. Maquinchao AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Sorento to leave the ground with a draw.
