The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Denis Macerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lapataia FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Everardo Manuelo hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Totoralejos FC were awarded a corner. Martin Barea went to the cornerflag to take it. Martin Barea made a great header on Totoralejos FC's corner, it was just that Lapataia FC's Elpidio Cloyo managed to reach the ball for a save. 18 minutes into the game, one of Lapataia FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eleuterio Isusko hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Godfredo Ibon's late challenge caught a Lapataia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Ibon helped the player get up and apologised. Godfredo Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Denis Macerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Loren having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Denis Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapataia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Macerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lapataia FC's Emilio Chano in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Totoralejos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Camilo Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Macerio in the 31st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Godfredo Ibon sped through Lapataia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Cloyo. Elpidio Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Weather, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Lapataia FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tomas Benino hit a great ball. Godfredo Ibon took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Cloyo. Elpidio Cloyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Benino during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godfredo Ibon to strike the kick off in the second half. Lapataia FC's Elpidio Cloyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Ibon in the 53rd minute of play. Tomas Benino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 54th playminute. In the 65th minute, Tomas Benino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Benino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Loren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. After 77 minutes, Severino Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapataia FC and the Totoralejos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Chano in the 79th minute of play forced Totoralejos FC's goalkeeper Camilo Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Macerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Camilo Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lapataia FC booed when Totoralejos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Denis Macerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapataia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Macerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Totoralejos FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Denis Macerio scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Loren, making the score, 3-3. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
