The wind increased when Pedro Galo made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Pedro Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Clodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Domeka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Clodio having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Alvear's Guillermo Haimar got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
