Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Federico Orland got the match started through his kick off. Basilio Lazcano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Tajo in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Orland in the 8th minute of play forced Rosario's goalkeeper Basilio Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Calchaquí's Federico Orland in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario's goalie prevented a goal. Guido Tajo might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Lazcano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Tajo ran back to his position shaking his head. Calchaquí were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Rosario's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Blas Eneko took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Iker Tajo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basilio Lazcano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 14th minute Pastor Lando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pastor Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Ubelteso having to interfere. Pastor Lando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Calchaquí's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Celino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pastor Lando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leandro Ubelteso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Lando in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Ubelteso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Orland took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Lazcano. Basilio Lazcano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 41 minutes, Hernan Theobald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calchaquí and the Rosario players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 46 minutes, Jonathan Celino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Celino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Lando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Enekoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Enekoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 58 minutes into the match, Blas Eneko sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Basilio Lazcano threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Blas Eneko this time. Jonathan Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Ubelteso having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pastor Lando in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Ubelteso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, Rosario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Indar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rosario's Enzo Mirande got a free kick in the 78th minute. Basilio Lazcano made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Guido Tajo sent off a good shot on target. If Federico Orland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rosario getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ladislao Gaizkine hit a great ball. After 90 played minutes Rosario got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Indar. Leandro Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Guido Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calchaquí's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Tajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
