In the 12th minute of the match, Javier Lluc tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabian Millan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Iturbe booed when Potrero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Harriet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Potrero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Harriet to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Rozarius shot a long shot in the 14th minute and a light blocked Fabian Millan hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-0. In the 18th minute, Teodosio Feliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Javier Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd match minute, Potrero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Lluc to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Potrero AFC's Andres Pes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Javier Ihazintu in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabian Millan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Damaso Abad hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonzo Eguzki made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Eguzki in the 51st minute of play forced Iturbe's goalkeeper Alfredo Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Andres Pes in the 54th minute really tested Alfredo Estavan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Celedonio Mazuste fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrero AFC's protests and gave Celedonio Mazuste a yellow card for diving instead. Erasmo Hermon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alfredo Estavan made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Leonides Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iturbe's Alfredo Estavan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Eguzki in the 85th minute of play. Alfredo Estavan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Eguzki went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Erasmo Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alfredo Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Erasmo Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Hermon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Potrero AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
