When Orlando Piarres came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Intiyaco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Piarres couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Jayvier in the 11th minute of play. Mario Jayvier hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Tomas Hulberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Igon went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Salvador Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Hulberto having to interfere. If Salvador Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Julio Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 played minutes Salvador Igon rounded Intiyaco AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Mario Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Raymon having to interfere. Sebastian Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Igon in the 44th minute of play forced Intiyaco AFC's goalkeeper Tomas Hulberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Julio Florinio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Florinio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Igon was the one to do the kick off. Piñero FC's Sebastian Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Feliz in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Igon in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Hulberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 56 in the game by Orlando Piarres from a close distance when the talented Sebastian Raymon managed to make a qualified save. Piñero FC's players were relieved. After 57 played minutes Piñero FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Bordat. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Sebastian Raymon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomas Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Florinio in the 60th minute of play. Tomas Hulberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Igon, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Salvador Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Hulberto having to interfere. Salvador Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Intiyaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Feliz. When Piñero FC's Salvador Igon, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Piñero FC. Salvador Igon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Julio Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tomas Hulberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Salvador Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piñero FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Igon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Hulberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Piñero FC booed when Intiyaco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Salvador Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Igon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Salvador Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Hulberto was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piñero FC fully deserved thier win.
