Salvador Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Arotza having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Felipe Nisio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Igon in the 23rd minute of play forced Puiggari AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piñero FC's Salvador Igon got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elvio Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Salvador Igon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Arotza was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Millrick made a kick off. Prospero Arnau's late challenge caught a Piñero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Arnau helped the player get up and apologised. Prospero Arnau hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Julio Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Igon struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Elvio Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piñero FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Florinio in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Arotza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Salvador Igon struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Elvio Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piñero FC. Puiggari AFC's Elvio Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Igon in the 75th minute of play. Julio Florinio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Elvio Arotza made a huge save. Piñero FC's Julio Florinio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Piñero FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Americo Katia was slow to take the kick. During this time Puiggari AFC's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Florinio got free with Elvio Arotza in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piñero FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
