Javier Orlin struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Maximino Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieves AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Suarez in the 15th minute of play forced Nieves AFC's goalkeeper Saul Oier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Orlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Suarez in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Oier saved Nieves AFC from getting behind. If Armando Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Orlin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Armando Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nieves AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Giro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Oier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Javiar in the 33rd minute of play. Silvio Javiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Eli's late challenge caught a Boquerón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Eli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nieves AFC's Camilo Eli got a free kick in the 37th minute. Patricio Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Orlin scored 1-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Abancens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Javier Orlin to strike the kick off in the second half. Camilo Eli hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nieves AFC's Saul Oier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Nieves AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Armando Giro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Javier Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dario Matia fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boquerón's protests and gave Dario Matia a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Orlin in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Abancens saved Boquerón from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Nieves AFC's goalkeeper Saul Oier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Javiar. Javier Orlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Abancens having to interfere. If Patricio Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nieves AFC's Saul Oier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Suarez in the 76th minute of play. Saul Oier made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Silvio Javiar sent off a good shot on target. Arsenio Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Javier Orlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boquerón's Maximino Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Giro in the 95th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Giro in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximino Abancens saved Boquerón from getting behind. Nieves AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
