Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Calvo's Ceferino Urre started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Guillermo Lohitzun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calvo and the Vilgo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Calvo's Guillermo Lohitzun got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Calvo's Hilario Ladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Berdaitz in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Marin during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gervasio Marin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Honorato Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Calvo's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Abadie came free, but Hilario Ladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calvo's Hilario Ladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Abadie in the 20th minute of play. Hilario Rufo made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Alfredo Galeno sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Rufo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Vilgo AFC's Honorato Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceferino Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Vilgo AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Rufo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Galeno. In the 40th minute, Teo Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ceferino Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Honorato Berdaitz made the kick off in the second half. Hilario Ladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Berdaitz in the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Guerrero during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Calvo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Honorato Berdaitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hilario Ladio. Honorato Berdaitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Hilario Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play Calvo's Gervasio Marin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 72 played minutes Calvo got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Marin. If Honorato Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes of play, Vilgo AFC's Honorato Berdaitz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Ladio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eriberto Abadie struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Hilario Ladio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilgo AFC. Vilgo AFC's Hilario Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Galeno in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Berdaitz in the 92nd minute of play forced Calvo's goalkeeper Hilario Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vilgo AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
