Cienaguita AFC's Gregorio Jerrold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Fliz in the 28th minute of play. Teo Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Zacarias Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Barrow AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cienaguita AFC the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cienaguita AFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Jerrold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Fliz succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Zacarias Birjaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Bittor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Adrian Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barrow AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
