Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Baristo got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Quilino got free with Siro Beti in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siro Beti didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingos Gutxi in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Henrico saved Rinconada FC from getting behind. Gustavo Iratzeder struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Siro Beti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinconada FC. When Teofilo Lapurdi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hornillos's protests and gave Teofilo Lapurdi a yellow card for diving instead. Teofilo Lapurdi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Gustavo Iratzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinconada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Iratzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hornillos booed when Rinconada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hornillos's Gregorio Tiso tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Sebastian Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Henrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Mariano Etxahun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rinconada FC and the Hornillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Iratzeder was the one to do the kick off. Gustavo Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucio Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Sebastian Baristo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Lucio Quilino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Beti. Hornillos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Quilino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Siro Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Quilino in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute Gustavo Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Adan Marin fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hornillos's protests and gave Adan Marin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hornillos getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Adan Marin hit a great ball. Rinconada FC's Cipriano Henrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Rinconada FC from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the game, Nicasio Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hornillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rinconada FC the free kick. The supporters of Rinconada FC booed when Hornillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hornillos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
