Abel Elodio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Baumer in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Innocenzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Innocenzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Froilan Silvino managed to get in a good position for a shot. French FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Silvino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Sugoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soldini 's Damian Loiola got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 23 minutes, Omar Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soldini 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Baumer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Baumer in the 28th minute of play forced French FC's goalkeeper Rolando Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rolando Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Soldini 's Albano Sugoi got control of the ball when Leo Ferdinand tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48thth minute of the game Damian Loiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but French FC's Rolando Innocenzio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Baumer was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when Leo Ferdinand in the 52nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Soldini 's Damian Loiola got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Loiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Omar Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Innocenzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Omar Baumer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nicasio Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Baumer in the 71st minute of play forced French FC's goalkeeper Rolando Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Loiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Soldini booed when French FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Sadurni didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Loiola got free with Rolando Innocenzio in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
