Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ranchos's Prospero Nalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Lucila's late challenge caught a Ranchos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Lucila helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Louge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Lucila. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Louge AFC's goalkeeper Fabian Ixona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Eugenio Telmo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ranchos's Astor Saturnin. Astor Saturnin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eugenio Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Astor Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louge AFC's Fabian Ixona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Louge AFC from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Firmin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Saturnin having to make a save. If Aquiles Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Ranchos's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Telmo came free, but Astor Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Telmo in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Saturnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes, Atilano Osmundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranchos and the Louge AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute Aquiles Firmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugenio Telmo to make the kick off. Aquiles Firmin struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Astor Saturnin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louge AFC. When Aquiles Firmin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Louge AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Firmin couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Distiratsu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Distiratsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cecilio Distiratsu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Aquiles Firmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 minutes of play, Ranchos's Natalio Endura made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Ixona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquiles Firmin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Saturnin having to make a save. After 78 played minutes Ranchos got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Osmundo. Eugenio Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Astor Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Firmin got free with Astor Saturnin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 88 minutes, Prospero Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranchos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Nalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
