Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Venancio's Santo Jaen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Danilo Remicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Benedicto Abancens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leandro Argi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 21 played minutes Colmena AFC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Remicio. Amador Teodor hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Venancio's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Abancens came free, but Leandro Argi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venancio getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Osvaldo Pietro hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Benedicto Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Argi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th match minute, Venancio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Franco to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 49 minutes, Fulgencio Evangelista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colmena AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Evangelista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Burni was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Jaen in the 56th minute of play forced Colmena AFC's goalkeeper Pedro Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Argi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Burni in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Venancio got a freekick which was hit by Americo Cloyo. When Colmena AFC's Dario Burni in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venancio's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Burni in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedicto Abancens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Leandro Argi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dario Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Argi having to interfere. Javier Nalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Dunixi having to interfere. The supporters of Venancio booed when Colmena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio's Javier Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danilo Remicio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Venancio's Luciano Goi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Dunixi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venancio's Javier Nalo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Danilo Remicio fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colmena AFC's protests and gave Danilo Remicio a yellow card for diving instead. Amador Teodor kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colmena AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Venancio.
