The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Albino Rainerio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Tano was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a little luck, Mora's Matias Baleren got control of the ball when Omar Che tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Mora's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Omar Che fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fermin Tano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Omar Che managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fraga AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Che was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Baleren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Mora were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 74 minutes, Isaias Sol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fraga AFC and the Mora players grew even worse after the yellow card.
