Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alvaro Lucila took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rosendo Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Manuel Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teobaldo Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lezcanos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Hernandez couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Bernardo Eneto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Eneto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Sasoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Lucila in the 14th minute of play forced Lezcanos FC's goalkeeper Igor Sasoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lezcanos FC's Rosendo Milian got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes of play, Lezcanos FC's Teobaldo Hernandez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Araoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Roberto Artaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Teobaldo Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lezcanos FC and the Medina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lezcanos FC's Teobaldo Hernandez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Manuel Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Milian in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alvaro Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Sasoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Weterio might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Araoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Weterio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 played minutes Medina FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Matthew. 41 minutes into the match, Adriana Abascal sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Manuel Araoz threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Adriana Abascal this time. In the 42nd minute, Rosendo Milian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Medina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Milian came free, but Manuel Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lezcanos FC booed when Medina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriana Abascal, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rosendo Milian to make the kick off. Lezcanos FC's Igor Sasoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Lucila in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Araoz. Medina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Weterio in the 70th minute of play forced Medina FC's goalkeeper Manuel Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Manuel Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Medina FC's zone, Teobaldo Hernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Araoz came out of the goal and Teobaldo Hernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lezcanos FC's Rosendo Milian in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medina FC's goalie prevented a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Medina FC's Abel Steven broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alvaro Lucila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Igor Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Rosendo Milian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Araoz having to interfere. Medina FC's Manuel Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Milian in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Teobaldo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lezcanos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Lezcanos FC were the better team. Lezcanos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
