Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mackenna's Victoriano Gudesteo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humberto Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the game, Aldo Sansone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grüttly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mackenna the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grüttly's Aldo Sansone got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Humberto Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Humberto Atarrabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Arnoldo Beturian fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mackenna's protests and gave Arnoldo Beturian a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mackenna's Arnoldo Beturian got a free kick in the 14th minute. Abelardo Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Edur having to interfere. Nestor Meder hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Cosme Formerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mackenna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Formerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tobias Romano fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grüttly's protests and gave Tobias Romano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mackenna booed when Grüttly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Victoriano Gudesteo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grüttly's Alfonso Ler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Ler having to interfere. Abelardo Jurdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 60th minute, Tobias Romano made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Edur. Mackenna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Abelardo Jurdan came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Grüttly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Jurdan couldn't finish the play. If Humberto Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Ler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Gudesteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Grüttly's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Atarrabi came free, but Alfonso Ler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Mackenna got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Gudesteo. Tobias Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bernardo Edur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Humberto Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Atarrabi struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Alfonso Ler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mackenna. The Grüttly players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mackenna from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
