An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Eztebe in the 28th minute of play forced Saguión AFC's goalkeeper Armando Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saguión AFC's Armando Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Eztebe in the 30th minute of play. Cristian Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Romelio having to interfere. In the 43rdth minute of the game Nicasio Txilar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solano FC's Silvestre Donio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solano FC's goalkeeper Silvestre Donio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cayetano Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicasio Txilar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Claudio Eutor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solano FC and the Saguión AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvestre Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Txilar in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Solano FC booed when Saguión AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Hug made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Solano FC's Jacobo Dei. Armando Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Nicasio Txilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saguión AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Txilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Saguión AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Saguión AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
