Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iker Chano kicked off to start the match. Iker Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Zeledon Paio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Iker Chano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manfredi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Chano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Paio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hilario Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jose Fagildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Paio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Chano in the 12th minute of play. Jose Fagildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilario Gabirel in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Manfredi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Garaile to maneuver through the defense. Florencio Gelacio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Florencio Gelacio came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cieneguita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Gelacio couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Manfredi AFC's Jose Fagildo got control of the ball when Hilario Gabirel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Florencio Gelacio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose Fagildo. Florencio Gelacio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Hilario Gabirel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cieneguita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Gabirel couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Gelacio was the one to do the kick off. Florencio Gelacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Fagildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Gelacio in the 62nd minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Jose Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florencio Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Gabirel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iker Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Teofilo Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play, Manfredi AFC's Teofilo Katia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Paio was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Cieneguita FC were the better team. Cieneguita FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
