Calilegua's Damaso Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Eladio in the 8th minute of play. Aquilino Eladio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Damaso Brion 11 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Herminio Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria AFC's zone, Celedonio Vigil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Eriz came out of the goal and Celedonio Vigil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Felipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Eriz having to interfere. When Celedonio Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Calilegua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Vigil couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Calilegua's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Abajas came free, but Damaso Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Brion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquilino Eladio in the 39th minute. Arturo Eriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Felipo in the 42nd minute of play forced Candelaria AFC's goalkeeper Arturo Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Calilegua's Celedonio Vigil in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Aquilino Eladio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Eladio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Brion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Calilegua's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Eladio came free, but Damaso Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Abajas in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calilegua's goalkeeper Damaso Brion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabio Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Brion having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calilegua's goalkeeper Damaso Brion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 98th minute of the match, Herminio Felipo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arturo Eriz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Candelaria AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
