The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Delmar Etxekopar might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Guifre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Etxekopar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Ferré AFC's zone, Delmar Etxekopar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Guifre came out of the goal and Delmar Etxekopar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Etxekopar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Domingo Guifre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atilano Chano's late challenge caught a Ferré AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Chano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Delicias AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Atilano Chano hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Delicias AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ferré AFC:s goal. Rafael Avellaneda had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Fulgencio Berdoi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Berdoi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Delicias AFC's Rafael Avellaneda. Rafael Avellaneda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Panpili in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Guifre saved Ferré AFC from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Tiburcio Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delicias AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ferré AFC's Damian Sengrat got a free kick in the 34th minute. Domingo Guifre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Etxekopar in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingo Guifre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Domingo Guifre made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Delmar Etxekopar sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiburcio Panpili made a kick off. When Tiburcio Panpili came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Delicias AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Panpili couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ferré AFC's Joaquin Perez got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ferré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Etxekopar came free, but Domingo Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Tiburcio Panpili who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferré AFC's Domingo Guifre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferré AFC's goalkeeper Domingo Guifre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tiburcio Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Ferré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Etxekopar came free, but Domingo Guifre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Avellaneda didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. The audience was convinced that Delmar Etxekopar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Guifre was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Ferré AFC's Serafin Jusepe got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Panpili in the 91st minute of play forced Ferré AFC's goalkeeper Domingo Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Hitz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Delmar Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ferré AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Delicias AFC side.
