Genaro Mikolas helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Libertad AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ferré AFC:s goal. The referee gave Ferré AFC a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fulgencio Berdoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Libertad AFC's Fabio Txomin. 1-0. Enrique Lordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Guifre having to interfere.

The wind increased when Serafin Jusepe made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Acosta struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Fabio Txomin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferré AFC. After some careless play in the Libertad AFC defense, Ricardo Acosta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Txomin. The Libertad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Txomin should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ferré AFC booed when Libertad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferré AFC's Lucio Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amador Cordarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Txomin having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ferré AFC fully deserved thier win.
