The referee ignored Delicia AFC's protests and gave Marciano Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Delicia AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Marciano Abarca hit a great ball. Teo Hori scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aquiles Sidro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Delicia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Sayvion came free, but Aquiles Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Sidro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Cesaro in the 30th minute. Emilio Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Abarca hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Lluis during the 49th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inocencio Richie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Codihué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Arnau to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Francisco Venerando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Richie in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Venerando saved Codihué from getting behind. With 79 minutes on the clock, Isaac Martxel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Delicia AFC! After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Tomás Sayvion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codihué's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Sayvion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Codihué fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Francisco Venerando had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Christian Fagildo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Francisco Venerando came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Delicia AFC's Christian Fagildo. But to his dismay, Christian Fagildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Aquiles Sidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Cesaro in the 95th minute of play. Francisco Venerando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Blanco in the 100th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
