Urusmayo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Burutzagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Urusmayo AFC's Severiano Inko in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 9th minute of the match Filomeno Loiola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Teofilio skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Americo Piarres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Teofilio was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Jonathan Tomi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Urusmayo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Piarres came free, but Luciano Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Burutzagi came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Severo Mel could save by the left post. Hector Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Mel having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Filomeno Loiola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andagualá FC and the Urusmayo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Andagualá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Loiola to maneuver through the defense. Severo Mel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urusmayo AFC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Andagualá FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnulfo Lizar took the corner. When Severiano Inko came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Urusmayo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Inko couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Andagualá FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Filomeno Loiola hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Ildefonso Etxeberri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severiano Inko was the one to do the kick off. When Severiano Inko came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Urusmayo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Inko couldn't finish the play. Andagualá FC's Severo Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Burutzagi in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Americo Piarres fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luciano Teofilio, passed just outside the right post. Jonathan Tomi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Urusmayo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Urusmayo AFC's Hector Burutzagi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 76 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urusmayo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andagualá FC the free kick. In the 76th minute, Arnoldo Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Andagualá FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Americo Piarres hit a great ball. With a little luck, Urusmayo AFC's Luciano Teofilio got control of the ball when Jonathan Tomi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urusmayo AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Americo Piarres 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 97 minutes into the match, Andagualá FC's Jonathan Tomi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Teofilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
