Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alvariño AFC's Ubaldo Loi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Clodoveo Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Gaston Luix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvariño AFC and the Esmeralda AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaston Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Xabel in the 9th minute of play forced Alvariño AFC's goalkeeper Remigio Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Loi struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Astor Calisto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvariño AFC. Esmeralda AFC's Astor Calisto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Esmeralda AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Salvador Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvariño AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Calisto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baltasar Matteo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Simon Xabel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remigio Frechoso having to make a save. Remigio Frechoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Xabel went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Simon Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Remigio Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Simon Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Clodoveo Berenguer came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Esmeralda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Berenguer couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Xabel made a kick off. If Clodoveo Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Alvariño AFC's Salvador Ralondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Calisto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clodoveo Berenguer struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Remigio Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esmeralda AFC. In the 98th minute, Clodoveo Berenguer made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Frechoso. Alvariño AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Esmeralda AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
