Celedonio Servando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manantiales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anderson the free kick. A collision led to Manantiales getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Santos Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Platon having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Honorio Remir scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Platon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manantiales's Celedonio Servando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Manantiales from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Manantiales getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rigoberto Oinaz hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Manantiales's goalkeeper Celedonio Servando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Lesardo. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Ramon Lesardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Santos Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Manantiales booed when Anderson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Santos Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Remir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Platon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Anderson's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Remir came free, but Rodolfo Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Honorio Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Maidana hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Ramon Lesardo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Celedonio Servando to make any attempt to save it. Rodolfo Platon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Remir, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Honorio Remir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Manantiales supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anderson's performance. The match ended with a win for Anderson.
