Juan Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Adan Austin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Remigio hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Everardo Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Gau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Uhin went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes in the game, Luisito Remigio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Gregorio Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Remigio in the 26th minute of the match. Teodosio Leoncio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, Cafayate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Mambru to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cafayate's Everardo Jaume got a free kick in the 35th minute. Pascual Uhin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregorio Gau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Uhin ran back to his position shaking his head. Luisito Remigio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Gau having to interfere. Ivan Gaitan hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Pascual Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cafayate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Alpatacal . Faustino Galo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gregorio Gau. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adan Oliverios to make the kick off. Pascual Uhin ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Alpatacal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Elvio Fliz hit a great ball. Adan Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Cafayate's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Remigio came free, but Gregorio Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Fliz got free with Gregorio Gau in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Luisito Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alpatacal 's Adan Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Oliverios in the 79th minute of play. Elvio Fliz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Cafayate's Teodosio Leoncio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Alpatacal 's Elvio Fliz got a free kick in the 84th minute. Cafayate's Gregorio Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Remigio in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Luisito Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpatacal 's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Remigio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Gau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Cafayate's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Remigio came free, but Gregorio Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Fliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Gau having to interfere. Alpatacal 's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
