Severo Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Bieito in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Chap in the 7th minute of play forced Alsina's goalkeeper Severo Suero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeronimo Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Paul in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Chap in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Suero saved Alsina from getting behind. When Esteve Baldovino fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dúrham AFC's protests and gave Esteve Baldovino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Esteve Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Vidal struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jeronimo Gartzea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alsina. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Gartzea was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The shot was stopped by Severo Suero but with some difficulty. In the 75th minute, Flavio Chap left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dúrham AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Severo Suero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavio Chap's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Jeronimo Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Alsina got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Lizar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dúrham AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
