Inocencio Kinsen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Inocencio Kinsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Rutenio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Iban went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 25 minutes into the match, Apayerey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Koldo came free, but Jonathan Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Iban struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Antonio Rutenio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apayerey FC. If Nereo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apayerey FC's Nereo Mergildo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilano Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Rutenio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Apayerey FC's Nereo Mergildo. But to his dismay, Nereo Mergildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Apayerey FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Froylan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Rozarius. The Cafayete players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Apayerey FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atilano Koldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Atilano Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jonathan Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inocencio Kinsen kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cafayete's Antonio Rutenio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Cafayete from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rozarius in the 63rd minute of play forced Apayerey FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Froylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafayete's Jorge Rozarius got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Atilano Koldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Apayerey FC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Frichoso. When Vinicio Bordat fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apayerey FC's protests and gave Vinicio Bordat a yellow card for diving instead. Vinicio Bordat hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jonathan Froylan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Koldo in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Cafayete booed when Apayerey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cafayete's Filomeno Edur tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cafayete booed when Apayerey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Ubendu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jorge Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Apayerey FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Apayerey FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
