In the 6th match minute, Hale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Castulo to maneuver through the defense. Luis Oliveiro, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Esteve Laurin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Jorrin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Hale's Cayetano Bastian got a free kick in the 12th minute. The corner ended in Luis Oliveiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hale's Esteve Laurin did a great save. Pablo Jorrin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hale's Esteve Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Jorrin in the 18th minute of play. Esteve Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Jorrin in the 21st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Portalis AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Adrio came free, but Jeremias Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Diegotxe in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Ixaka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcial Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jeremias Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Hale got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Euloxu. After having played for 45 minutes, Luis Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portalis AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Oliveiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iker Lapurdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Jorrin to make the kick off. Iker Lapurdi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Laurin having to make a save. Lucas Diegotxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. Iker Lapurdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Laurin having to interfere. Jeremias Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Diegotxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Portalis AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hale's performance. The match ended with a win for Hale.
