Eustaquio Acuña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Seguinus, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Orlando Seguinus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cornelio Olo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mario Mitxaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrufó. Niceto Gilabert's late challenge caught a Rangel AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Gilabert helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rangel AFC booed when Arrufó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Hegoi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eustaquio Acuña. Arrufó's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Niceto Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Niceto Gilabert took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mario Mitxaut to make any attempt to save it. Julian Claris might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Acuña. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Claris ran back to his position shaking his head. After 40 played minutes Rangel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Hegoi. Enrique Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Mitxaut having to interfere. If Julian Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cornelio Olo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mario Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arrufó's Cornelio Olo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Enrique Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes, Arrufó's Tiburcio Orlanda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Mitxaut came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arrufó reached it. The Arrufó supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rangel AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rangel AFC.
