Tiburcio Deunoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Michael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Deunoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Michael having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Deunoro was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Chilca AFC's Jose Richie got control of the ball when Marcos Ritchie tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chilca AFC's goalkeeper Jose Richie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Deunoro in the 66th minute of play forced Lagunilla AFC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chilca AFC booed when Lagunilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiburcio Deunoro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reynaldo Michael saved Lagunilla AFC from getting behind.
