After recieving a nice pass, Alvarado's Federico Ostargi tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mateo Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Che having to interfere. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cristobal Peli hit a great ball. In the 23rd match minute, Palermo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Astigar to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Mateo Gonzalez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvarado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A hard shot 28 in the game by Sergio Rik from a close distance when the talented Bernardo Arnau managed to make a qualified save. Alvarado's players were relieved. Alvarado's Bernardo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Mundo in the 52nd minute of play. Teodoro Che made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Lano in the 55th minute. If Domingo Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Alvarado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Alonso to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palermo AFC's Teodoro Che proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 85 minutes, Lázaro Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Lano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Ledesma in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palermo AFC's Prudencio Eguen got a free kick in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
