A hard shot 6 in the game by Feliciano Pinto from a close distance when the talented Artemio Rumaldo managed to make a qualified save. Bovril AFC's players were relieved. Feliciano Pinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Rumaldo having to interfere. With his leg Artemio Rumaldo managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Donadeu's Feliciano Pinto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Evaristo Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Teobaldo Oro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bovril AFC's Artemio Rumaldo didn't even have to move. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Donadeu booed when Bovril AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bovril AFC defense, Carlos Rudolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Rumaldo. The Bovril AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Rumaldo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Rudolfo in the 81st minute of play forced Bovril AFC's goalkeeper Artemio Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Julio Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Julio Dominic got free in front of the goal in the 88th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Iker Chorche was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Carlos Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donadeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Rudolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Rumaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lorenzo Tirso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Chorche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Iker Chorche had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Eustacio Juvenal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 98 minutes into the match, Eustacio Juvenal notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Donadeu's Iker Chorche. Iker Chorche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bovril AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
