Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marciano Henry started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gonzalo Gombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Benat in the 3rd minute of the match. Desiderio Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Gombal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Oscar Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merceditas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Benat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Gombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eriberto Larpe's late challenge caught a Merceditas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Larpe helped the player get up and apologised. Desiderio Estavan might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Gombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Estavan ran back to his position shaking his head. Marciano Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Velasco having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Anibal Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Fidel Koldobika ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Marciano Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Paulino Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Fidel Koldobika got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oscar Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Velasco having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Saldungaray FC's Fidel Koldobika nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Desiderio Estavan to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Fidel Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saldungaray FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Koldobika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oscar Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Saldungaray FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nunez Gipuzkoa hit a great ball. A hard shot by Saturnino Emesto from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Gonzalo Gombal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 67 minutes into the match, Saldungaray FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Gombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Benat. In the 70th minute, one of Saldungaray FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saldungaray FC. When Desiderio Estavan came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Merceditas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Estavan couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Estavan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Benat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Gombal made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saldungaray FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Merceditas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
