With a little luck, Naranjito's Baltasar Tiso got control of the ball when Prospero Abeijon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Feliciano Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Naranjito booed when Quiñihuao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Jordy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Bernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Mazuste in the 43rd minute of the match. If Aureliano Mazuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Gaitan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Prospero Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Quiñihuao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Tiso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Abeijon's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Fulgencio Hermon charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulgencio Hermon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Naranjito's Fulgencio Hermon got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Lucio Celino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltasar Tiso. Naranjito's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Feliciano Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-1 became the score in the 72nd minute when Feliciano Mateo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match, Aureliano Mazuste got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dario Bernard was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Mateo in the 78th minute of play forced Naranjito's goalkeeper Baltasar Tiso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Feliciano Mateo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Tiso. The crowd rose to their feet as Naranjito's Eustaquio Gaitan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dario Bernard. That made the score 2-2 after 83 minutes of play. In the 86th minute Feliciano Mateo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Quiñihuao FC's Dario Bernard got control of the ball when Aureliano Mazuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilio Gilabert charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Gilabert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Naranjito had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
