Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Urbasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sepultura's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Christian Loiola scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Criston, making the score, 1-0. If Jonas Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Milian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Bonadona having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Milian in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Bonadona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Bremen's Christian Loiola got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Enrique Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Rey during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sepultura booed when Bremen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hugo Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Criston having to interfere. Silvano Clis hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Christian Loiola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Criston having to make a save.

The wind increased when Jonas Milian made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sepultura's Rolando Bikendi got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute, Christian Loiola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Criston was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Urbasa in the 60th minute of play forced Sepultura's goalkeeper Hugo Criston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hugo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Hugo Urbasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Criston was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, Sepultura's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Loiola came free, but Hugo Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Paul hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Hugo Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Loiola in the 70th minute of play. Bremen's Hugo Urbasa got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Loiola struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hugo Criston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bremen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Loiola in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Criston saved Sepultura from getting behind. If Hugo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Bikendi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sepultura's zone, Hugo Urbasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Criston came out of the goal and Hugo Urbasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hugo Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Bremen's Christian Loiola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Criston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute Christian Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Criston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Kusko kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bremen fully deserved thier win.
