But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Thomas couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Berart struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Hurko couldn't finish the play. Cesar Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bruno Fix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Hurko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Constitución FC's Severino Thomas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Fix. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 28th minute, Alvaro Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Abad struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bruno Fix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constitución FC. Luis Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Abad got free with Bruno Fix in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Severino Thomas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Fix. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Berreta AFC's Alvaro Berart got a free kick in the 44th minute. Constitución FC's Natalio Bartolome couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Berreta AFC. Gustavo Abad struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Bruno Fix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constitución FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Thomas to make the kick off. After 58 played minutes Constitución FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Llorenc. Mauricio Baraquiel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victoriano Nalo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Mauricio Baraquiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Nalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Niceto Hurko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berreta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Hurko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Baraquiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, Berreta AFC's Fabio Etor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauricio Baraquiel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Alvaro Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Bruno Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Thomas in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Jakes during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 84 minutes into the game, one of Berreta AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Abad in the 90th minute of play forced Berreta AFC's goalkeeper Bruno Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Berreta AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Constitución FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
