Constitución FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alsina AFC the free kick. Cesar Nataniel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Severino Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Abad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Baraquiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Oliverio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Victor Guerrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Abad in the 19th minute. Victor Guerrero made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Gustavo Abad sent off a good shot on target. If Ricardo Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Seguinus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Baraquiel having to interfere. Gustavo Abad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Guerrero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Gustavo Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Thomas in the 39th minute of play forced Alsina AFC's goalkeeper Victor Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ricardo Cristofor came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Alsina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Cristofor couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severino Thomas to make the kick off. Victor Guerrero came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Constitución FC's Gustavo Abad. But to his dismay, Gustavo Abad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ricardo Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mauricio Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Constitución FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angelino Arias hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Cristofor got free with Mauricio Baraquiel in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Santos Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mauricio Baraquiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Constitución FC's Santos Ekaitz got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Uriel Pasqual sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Constitución FC's Mauricio Baraquiel didn't even have to move. In the 83rd minute, Santiago Berto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alsina AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 89th minute, Gustavo Abad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Severino Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Constitución FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Guerrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Victor Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Honorato Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 97thth minute of the game Gustavo Abad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alsina AFC's Victor Guerrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Constitución FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
