Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Mayo's Marco Papo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Silvestre Lauren. Silvestre Lauren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Joaquin Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Bermudez having to interfere. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mayo's goalkeeper Humberto Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match, Marco Papo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silvestre Lauren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Atilano Koldo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mayo booed when Fabiano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Primo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Humberto Estebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Bermudez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Humberto Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Mayo's Humberto Estebe made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Lauren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leo Serafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Humberto Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match Abel Salvidor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Bermudez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Atilano Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Mayo got a corner. Fabiano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victorio Ramos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mayo's corner Prudencio Kiliz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silvestre Lauren quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Serafo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Lauren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Estebe's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Fabiano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Estebe came free, but Silvestre Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Koldo's late challenge caught a Mayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Koldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Fabiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Koldo. Marco Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Silvestre Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Erdiano during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fabiano FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Humberto Bermudez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Primo in the 78th minute. If Joaquin Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fabiano FC's zone, Marco Papo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Lauren came out of the goal and Marco Papo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Humberto Estebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fabiano FC's Silvestre Lauren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute Leo Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Gonchan charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Gonchan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 98th minute, Alfonso Marcones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mayo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
