Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Munio got the match started through his kick off. Mayo's Marco Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Ernesto Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacurales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Lekubegi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Estebe struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Elpidio Jago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayo. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mayo's goalkeeper Humberto Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Tacurales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Rik to maneuver through the defense. Marco Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Elpidio Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Llorian kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ernesto Lekubegi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Humberto Bermudez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Humberto Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Munio in the 33rd minute of the match. Humberto Bermudez made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ernesto Lekubegi sent off a good shot on target. Ernesto Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Bermudez having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Lekubegi got free with Humberto Bermudez in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Papo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 59 minutes, Humberto Estebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mayo and the Tacurales FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Humberto Estebe kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, one of Mayo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Tacurales FC. Feliberto Orkatz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Humberto Bermudez. 1-0. Tacurales FC's Mariano Munio got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariano Munio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Lekubegi came free, but Humberto Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Elpidio Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Rik during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mayo's Humberto Estebe came free and shot a quick shot against goal 87 minutes in the game, fortunately Elpidio Jago had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Munio in the 90th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Humberto Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Tacurales FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Jago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Estebe. Humberto Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Jago having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mayo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tacurales FC.
