One of Chilecito FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fighiera FC:s goal. When Rogelio Ihintza fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fighiera FC's protests and gave Rogelio Ihintza a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Fighiera FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Ihintza. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Romulo Ramond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Laffitte in the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Oso got free with Agustin Beti in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustin Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Tonio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Oso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
