Esquina AFC's Serafino Cordeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Esquina AFC from getting a goal against them. After 7 minutes, Arnaldo Felipillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hickmann and the Esquina AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flavio Orkatz charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Orkatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Hickmann was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Ireno in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Carolo Dolcet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Cordeiro having to interfere. Mario Oskarbi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Esquina AFC's Serafino Cordeiro got control of the ball when Igor Martino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ariel Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Furman having to interfere. Ariel Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24thth minute of the game Rafael Ireno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hickmann's Eliseo Furman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Rafael Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serafino Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Dei in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Furman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match, Carolo Dolcet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serafino Cordeiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Hickmann booed when Esquina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Clemencin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rafael Ireno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Ireno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseo Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Ireno in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Ireno made a kick off. Carolo Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Cordeiro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Esquina AFC's Geronimo Orain got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hickmann's Carolo Dolcet fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Esquina AFC's Serafino Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Martino in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Igor Martino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hickmann fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Placido Clemencin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Mario Oskarbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Hickmann's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Clemencin kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Ariel Dei fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ariel Dei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eliseo Furman made a huge save. After having played for 93 minutes, Carolo Dolcet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hickmann's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Dolcet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes of play Hickmann's Arnaldo Felipillo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Hickmann's Arnaldo Felipillo got a free kick in the 97th minute. Hickmann were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Esquina AFC for a fine match.
