Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Ireno in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Pueblo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ezequiel Berasko hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Navarro FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Anselmo Jesco hit a great ball. Rafael Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Celedonio Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Esquina AFC booed when Navarro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. One of Esquina AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Navarro FC:s goal. Serafino Cordeiro had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Aquilino Gaizko's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bruno Handi struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Serafino Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navarro FC. When Bruno Handi came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Navarro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Handi couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
