Epifanio Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Regis in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huanqueros's goalkeeper Epifanio Brun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benicio Dayam charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Dayam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Epifanio Brun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 24 played minutes Valdés FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Obano. With a little luck, Valdés FC's Isidoro Geleberto got control of the ball when Angelino Palben tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Serafin Ospetsu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huanqueros's Epifanio Brun didn't even have to move. Angelino Palben scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Geleberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Joaquin Regis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valdés FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Epifanio Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Brun having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Regis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Regis might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Brun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Regis ran back to his position shaking his head. Huanqueros's Angelino Palben got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Geleberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Regis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Joaquin Regis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Epifanio Brun came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquin Regis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 71st minute. Humberto Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Huanqueros's Angelino Palben sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Geleberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Santo Bonifaco fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdés FC's protests and gave Santo Bonifaco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Valdés FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Santo Bonifaco hit a great ball. Angelino Palben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Geleberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Humberto Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
